🍂 Fall Is Calling!
Summer somehow flew by! From local races to weekend adventures, it’s been a busy few months for Rose City Runners. There’s nothing quite like seeing so many familiar faces out there—whether racing, volunteering, or simply getting miles in together.
We would like to thank Howard and Wendy for hosting their annual RCR Pool Party. The rain held off and we had a great turnout.
Now that summer is winding down, the racing season is just getting started! Cooler temperatures make fall a favorite time to pin on a bib, and there are plenty of opportunities close to home. Please remember to send in your race photos so they can be included in the next newsletter.
September brings a great selection of 5Ks, including the Sept. 19 5K St. Hubert’s Run and Walk for the Animals in Madison and the Sept. 20 Berkeley Heights 5K. October is packed with choices, from the Oct. 18 5K Run in Millburn for the Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad, the Branch Brook 15K 15K and the Halloween Half Marathon right here in Morristown. And of course, November brings the traditional Turkey Trots—a great way to get some miles in before Thanksgiving and work up an appetite!

Whether you're chasing a PR, training for a longer distance, or just looking for a fun race with friends for a good cause, fall has something for everyone. Check the race calendar, pick a few, and let's see some Rose City shirts out on the roads!
Happy running—and happy racing! 🍁
